This book was just as good as all the others,....loved it BUT SPOILER!!!!! It has to be Buck I am sorry I need him to be the one and only. I love Buck and Nathan, I can only hope they get their happy ever after. Quick fun HOT read!!!! Get it now.
I don't know who to believe either but I would have to say the way Japheth raped him with a glass bottle would make me seriously doubt his sincerity. Let's see who and what life Nathan chooses. Oh and Nathan was naked when he was taken from Buck he was not wearing jeans.
This short story is extremely short - 30 pages and it isn't a complete work. It's the third in a series and like the first two, ends in a cliff hanger.
While the blurb compares this work to other authors, what it doesn't include is the threat of gang rape, forced rape, and brutality. The 'steamy' scenes mentioned are forced couplings which one of the participants didn't want but was forced to. It's like the main character can't get a break. But worse than all that is this hint of a love triangle between brothers. And not just brothers, twins. One being evil and one good. Wolves.
I picked up book 2 and 3 with the unlimited free program. With that said, I am not impressed with this series. It's one train wreck after another and as a reader I expect more once the series advances. More character depth, more world building, more advancement in the plot. . . So far that isn't happening in this story of 30 pages.
Oh yes, and I wouldn't call this third one Marked For Love. What was done here was not love. Kidnapping and forced rape and fearing for your life is not love. If what's his name. . . Nate? . . . If he can't realize that as this love triangle unfolds, then this series is headed in only one direction. . . The trash can. - Dan's Wife
As much as I didn't like the turn that this story took it certainly made for an interesting installment. I still didn't like what occurred in the story but I have to give it to the author for creating a situation where you couldn't tell who had told the truth. And my opinion of Nathan? Let's just say either someone is very persuasive and/or someone is a weak lust driven itch that needs scratching.
The fourth book has a really important decision that resolves the cliffhanger from this story. I almost stopped reading this set of books after the first installment. I am so glad I persevered. Despite my dislike of characters, situations, and not knowing who is lying, this series of stories grew on me. If you enjoy thrillers with mysterious elements then you may want to read this particular story which is filled with kidnappings, confusion, anxiety, arousal, lust, lies, hurt, pain, heartache, differing perspectives, alphas, pack members, running in the woods, sex, and of course vicious fighting.
I highly recommend this 3rd book, as well as the 1st and 2nd of this series. Jamie has done an amazing job with the characters and story line of these books.
they are thrilling, heart wrenching, and erotic all rolled up in one. Each book definitely makes you want to know what is coming in the next book. Hard to put down.
I have become addicted to Jamie Lake Novels and the Mark for Love series is one of my most favorite...time for the movie!!
